This has been my most stressful week since deciding to get married. We've (more "she's" than "I've") done the lion's share of the wedding work already, but there are a lot of details left to be handled in a short time. We discovered early on in the process that m is a "stress and kick ass early, relax later" kind of project manager, and I am the "relax a good long time, kick ass and stress at the end" kind of project manager. As the day has gotten closer and closer, it's become obvious we were right about both parts for each of us. (I was secretly hoping that actually, I am the type to relax early, and kick ass later without stress...)
It's times like this when I realize how great it is to be part of a team, and what a wonderful thing it is to be able to rely on other people who love you. I'm accustomed to being there for other people, emotionally speaking. It's nice to know that when I need to do some leaning myself, that there's someone there for me. More than someone of course... multiple someones.
